About the BPO Awards
Every year, CapeBPO hosts the CapeBPO Awards - a big deal in the BPO world. This event is all about recognising and celebrating the amazing contributions of individuals and companies in the industry.
The CapeBPO Awards have become a must-attend event, drawing in hundreds of entries from top companies and professionals. It’s a chance to shine a spotlight on the talent and hard work that make the BPO industry tick, and it plays a key role in supporting the sector’s growth in the region.
Challenge & Goals
CapeBPO needed a partner who could handle everything from managing the nominations and judging process, to organising roadshows and creating a buzz through marketing and PR.
The challenge was to not only coordinate a smooth and engaging awards process but also to make the event itself an unforgettable experience. With the added twist of coinciding with the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the stakes were even higher.

Business Impact
The awards attracted 400+ nominations, leading to 100+ face-to-face interviews with finalists, all meticulously organised and conducted by our team. The judging panel—consisting of 13 industry-leading experts—had their work cut out for them, selecting winners from a pool of the BPO industry's finest.
We saw over 600 attendees fill the venue, with tickets selling out well before the event. The evening was attended by prominent figures, including key parliamentary members, the soulful performance of Jimmy Nevis, and the charismatic Ryan O’Connor as our MC.
Every detail was crafted to perfection, from the roadshow lead-up with JP Duminy that built anticipation across Cape Town’s BPO community to the live-streamed Rugby World Cup match that added an extra layer of excitement.
The CapeBPO Awards 2023 were nothing short of spectacular, setting a new standard for BPO events in the Western Cape.
