The updated text tool is straightforward: just tap on the text button, choose from the new fonts, and start experimenting. You can animate your text or add effects—mix and match to find a style that truly speaks to you.
2. Text and Stickers for Photos and Carousels
Creativity doesn’t stop at Reels and Stories. Instagram now lets you add text—yes, including those fancy new fonts—and layer images using stickers in your photos and carousels. Want to tell a story or add a bit more flair to your posts? Now you can, with just a few taps. After selecting a photo, hit the text button and start customising. Need to layer another image? Tap the gallery button at the top right of your screen. And yes, you can change the shape of your stickers—from squares to stars, hearts, or circles.
3. More Creative Freedom with Longer Carousels
Ever feel like 10 photos or videos in a carousel just wasn’t enough? Instagram has increased the carousel limit to 20, giving you more room to showcase your moments. Now, you can fully capture those epic adventures, step-by-step recipes, or whatever story you want to share. Just click on Post, and select up to 20 photos and videos to make your content as comprehensive as you like.
