Stay Focused with WhatsApp’s New Custom Lists
Earlier this year, WhatsApp introduced chat filters to make finding messages faster and more organized. Users loved the feature, so WhatsApp has taken it up a notch with the release of Lists.
With Lists, you can now filter your chats into custom categories that work best for you. Whether you need a list for family, work, or your neighbourhood group, Lists make it easy to keep important conversations front and centre.
Creating and editing Lists is simple: just tap the “+” in the filter bar at the top of your Chats tab to add a new list, or edit by long-pressing any list you’ve made.
Much like your ‘favorites,’ you can add both group and individual chats to any list, which will then show up in the filter bar for easy access.
WhatsApp is rolling out Lists to users starting today, and everyone will have access in the coming weeks. Stay tuned—WhatsApp is already working on expanding List features to help you stay connected with the people and conversations that matter most.
